As with most endeavors in life, people mostly don’t care how you got a result. They care about the result. The journey there is for you. Day-after-day I see more edicts and guidelines from.
Mitchell Hashimoto has added an AI POLICY document (novel) to his Ghostty project.
DHH has a rare miss and waxes poetic about his relationship with AI on his blog.
What People Want
People care about what you ship in tech. That’s always been one of the best things about this field. Doesn’t matter if you’re on the spectrum, or survived on ramen for 2 years while coding your MVP and trying to get VC buxx - those things make great war stories over beer, but you gotta win the war first.
So my advice if you want to make content about these tools? Show us HOW to use them and show us what you built with them. Tech is one of the last meritocratic institutions and I hope it stays that way so…
please shut the fuck up and get back to shipping, ok?
